ABCC 2012 is carbon neutral-certified. All disposable utensils used for meals throughout the competition will be biodegradable. Paper used during the course of the competition will be sent to an eco-friendly company for recycling. Also, carbon emissions generated throughout the competition will be offset through the purchase of carbon credits from The CarbonNeutral Company.



The ABCC website is hosted by Sgnix, which believes in eco-friendliness towards the environment. In using Sgnix\'s wind-powered servers, we contribute to the environment by protecting 1271 acres of forest every year.

Publicity campaigns will mostly be carried out through social media like Facebook and YouTube. This maximizes our reach in an environmentally-friendly manner through the reduced need for printed materials.
